No, there is no limit as to how much premium can be paid using a credit card as long as your premium is within your approved card limit.

There is a convenience fee. But as long as you pay your premiums by the end of the credit free period (18-50 days of payment), you don’t have to pay any interest.

 

3. Can I make insurance payment through credit card?

Yes, you can make your insurance premium payment using your credit card. Depending on the insurance provider and your credit card provider, you can pay both directly as well as activate an auto-debit mode.

 

4. Is it OK to pay LIC premium through credit card?

Yes LIC premium payments can be made using VISA/Master Credit Cards (Domestic Only) with some convenience charges. However, the convenience charges applicable are entirely borne by LIC.
