From the beginning, OneCard set out to rethink how users experience credit. The OneCard app was designed to give users complete control over their Credit Card experience, with a mobile-first experience built around simplicity and transparency.

Over time, we introduced several features that redefined how users manage their credit. From real-time spend insights and location-based offer discoveries to enhanced card controls, OneCard experience has always been about giving back control to users.

However, as we evolved from a credit card into a comprehensive payments and credit platform, it created the need for a more unified and intuitive experience. This shaped the foundation for OneCard Unbound 2026—an update focused on simplifying navigation, improving discoverability, and building foundation for future growth.

The Principles Backing OneCard Unbound 2026

While building OneCard Unbound 2026, we went back to the core principles that defined the OneCard experience. They continue to serve as our foundation, shaping how users experience credit, payments, and every interaction on OneCard.

1. Transparency

Transparency has always been central to OneCard. Features like spend insights and budget tracking were introduced to make credit easier to understand and manage.

With the new update, we go a step further by helping users make more mindful and responsible financial decisions. Information is presented in a structured way, allowing users to quickly understand spending patterns, upcoming payments and overall credit usage.

For example, users can easily see where they spend the most, track recurring expenses such as subscriptions, or monitor their repayment cycles. These insights help users adjust their spending habits, plan repayments more effectively, and avoid unnecessary interest or late fees.

2. Giving Control Back to Users

OneCard has always focused on giving users full control over their experience. Whether managing their spends, credit card controls, and converting transactions into EMIs directly from the app.

With the latest release, these controls become easier to discover and faster to access. Key actions are surfaced contextually based on user needs, and related controls are grouped more intuitively. For instance, if a user has a pending action from the previous session, they would be able to revisit it quickly in the next session.

By improving discoverability and accessibility, OneCard Unbound 2026 strengthens user control and makes managing the One Credit Card more seamless and intuitive.

3. Mobile First Experience

The OneCard experience was designed for a mobile-first generation. From paperless applications to offers, and in-app support, users stay in control of everything on the app.

With the latest update, this experience becomes more contextual and self-serve. Users can access relevant actions based on what they are trying to do at that moment. For instance, if a transaction failed earlier, the user will be educated about the reason along with next steps. If KYC is still pending, timely reminders surface with clear steps—so it doesn’t get missed. Requesting limit increase has also become easier and can be done directly through the app.

4. Ease of Use

OneCard has always focused on empowering users with simple and accessible features, whether it is tracking spends, managing subscriptions, or transacting on UPI.

With this release, this experience is further simplified through improved information architecture and navigation. OneCard UPI gets faster and more intuitive—making everyday payments smoother and easier to manage. Key actions like scanning, sending, and linking RuPay cards to UPI are easy to access.

What’s New in OneCard Unbound 2026?

1. Adaptive UI

The latest release introduces contextual intelligence. The app adapts to user behaviour and key events related to the Credit Card and UPI. New users receive guidance to discover features, while returning users experience faster navigation and streamlined access to frequently used actions.

Important events, such as bill generation or a declined transaction, surface relevant information and actions at the right time, helping users respond quickly. This creates a more proactive experience that improves usability and reduces friction.

2. Easy Navigation

The latest update introduces a structured navigation built around four tabs. This enables every feature on the app to be accessed in two steps.

a. Store

Users can now explore and book their travel, hotel stays, etc., from the all new OneCard Store. Additionally, it also lets users buy memberships, gift cards, discounted products, etc, making it a platform for discovering value.

b. Offers

The Offers section focuses on merchant-based deals and savings opportunities. Users can browse offers and access curated deals.

c. Spends

The Spends section acts as the financial insights hub. Users can track spending, view insights, manage bills, and explore repayment options.

d. Manage

The Manage section centralises card controls and preferences. Users can manage card settings, configure preferences, and control their experience.

3. New Features in OneCard Unbound 2026

a. Travel Bookings

Allows users to plan trips through curated offers. This adds convenience and value.

b. Memberships

Allows users to buy curated subscriptions from top brands. This simplifies subscription management.

The Vision: Built for Speed, Simplicity, and Scale

1. An Intuitive App Experience

This release improves discoverability and navigation through a refined information architecture. Features are reorganised so locating key actions is easy.

Multiple entry points have been introduced for critical features, allowing users to access them from different contexts. This reduces navigation depth and improves feature discoverability.

Navigation has also been streamlined, enabling users to reach key features more quickly. These changes create a more intuitive and efficient app experience.

2. Faster, Smarter, and Built for Scale

OneCard Unbound 2026 delivers significant performance improvements with the new React Native framework. The upgrade also enables better use of native Android and iOS capabilities, allowing for richer experiences across features such as offers, payments, and discovery. Alongside this, API optimisation and progressive downloads help reduce load times and improve overall performance.

These changes make OneCard faster, more reliable, and better equipped to scale as new features are introduced.

3. A Stronger Design and Technology Foundation

The latest release  introduces a centralised design system built for consistency and scale. This approach speeds up execution while maintaining quality across the app.

Behind the scenes, enhancements to testing, measurement, and frontend synchronization enable faster iteration. Together, these improvements create a stronger foundation for future growth and help OneCard evolve with user needs.

The OneCard Unbound 2026 Thesis

This update is built on a simple belief that managing credit and payments should be easy, intuitive, and user-driven. The redesigned experience improves discoverability, enhances control, and introduces intelligent features that make managing your One Credit Card more seamless.

OneCard Unbound 2026 marks the next step in creating a smarter, more intuitive experience and the beginning of a new chapter for OneCard.
