If you no longer need your OneCard

If there comes a time when you no longer need your OneCard and decide to part ways, you can choose to delete your OneCard account. However, please note that uninstalling the app is not sufficient to delete your account with us. You need to follow a step-by-step process of account deletion and fully understand the implications of doing so, before you decide to do so.

Here’s a comprehensive guide on how to delete your OneCard account and what happens when you do so.

How to Delete Your OneCard Account**

  1. Visit your profile section

  Scroll down to ‘Delete Account’

  Carefully go through the information provided on the screen and tap on ‘Proceed’ - 4. Pay your outstanding balance - 5. Tap on ‘Initiate’

On successful completion of all the steps mentioned above, your account will be deleted in 7 working days.

What Happens to Your OneCard Account

You will lose access to your data:

Once we delete your OneCard account, you will permanently lose access to your OneCard app including data related to your past transactions or any other activity.

We will retain certain data as per regulatory requirements:

To comply with regulatory guidelines, we will need to retain certain data related to your account for a specified duration. To know more, please refer to the Privacy policy here.

We will intimate the credit bureaus about the closure

Once your card is closed, we will report the same to the credit bureaus.

What Happens to Pending Disputes or Transactions

We will close all the open queries:

Once we initiate card closure, tickets on any ongoing queries or disputes, will be automatically closed. In case you are awaiting a resolution, we request you to wait for a status update before you initiate card closure. You will need to clear your outstanding dues:

Before closing your card, you will need to clear your outstanding balance. If you have any on-going EMIs, they will be foreclosed, and the amount due will be added to the total payable amount.

1. What if I have not received my card yet?

If you request a card closure before you receive your card, the delivery will be halted immediately.

2. Are there any card closure charges?

If it has been less than 6 months since you activated your OneCard, you will need to pay card closure charges.
